FAQ

Questions, answered.

What people ask before they hire me, with the whole answer right here. Every price is on the pricing page.

Prices and paying

Why are your prices public?

Because you shouldn’t need a sales call to find out what something costs. The price you see is the price, for every plan and every add-on.

Do I have to sign a long contract?

No. You choose between two ways to pay for the same site: $0 down on a 12-month agreement, or a one-time setup fee and month-to-month after that, with no minimum. If you end the 12-month agreement early, you pay the part of the setup fee I haven’t recovered yet, and never more than the setup fee itself.

What’s the difference between $0 down and the setup fee?

$0 down spreads the build cost across a 12-month agreement. If you end it early, you pay the part of the build cost I haven’t recovered yet: the setup fee × the whole months left ÷ 12, and never more than the setup fee itself. The setup option costs more up front, then runs month-to-month with no commitment. Same site, same service. Pick the cash flow that suits you.

Owning your site, and leaving

What does "you own everything" actually mean?

Your domain is registered in your name, your content is yours, and if you leave I hand over files, accounts, and access completely. It’s written into our agreement. Agencies holding sites hostage is the most common horror story in this business, and I guarantee the opposite.

The build

How long does a build take?

Most sites are live in two to three weeks. Your part is about thirty minutes total: giving me your information and approving the design.

Do I have to write anything?

No. Bring what you have (a menu, a services list, an old brochure) and I’ll write the site. Writing it is part of the plan, and the price is the same whether you hand me finished copy or a napkin.

What makes your sites secure?

No WordPress, no plugins to hack. Your site is built the way I build production software: hardened security headers, automated backups, uptime monitoring. It’s the same baseline on every plan, not an upsell.

What if I already have a website?

I’ll look at it for free and tell you honestly whether it needs a rebuild, a tune-up, or nothing at all. Sometimes the right answer is just fixing your Google listing, and that’s $59/mo on its own.

Working with me

Do you only work with businesses in Aurora?

Aurora is home and where I do my best work in person. I also take on businesses around the Denver metro area.

Do you work in Spanish?

I work in English only, and I would rather tell you that up front than waste your time. If Spanish-language service matters for your project, I am glad to point you to someone local and great.

Just started a business

I just started. Isn’t it too early for a website?

Maybe, and I’ll tell you honestly if it is. For most local businesses the free Google listing comes first, and even a small site earns its keep the moment someone looks you up before they call. The big plan can wait. On day one you just need to look real and turn up when people search your name.

I already pay for Jobber (or Square, or Toast). Do I need this too?

Those run the operations side of things. What they don’t do is bring you a new customer, and they won’t chase a review or catch the call you missed while your hands were full. I work alongside whatever you already use and wire the site into it. You won’t rip anything out or learn a new system.

Can I start small and move up later?

Yes. Start on the plan that fits today and move up when the work does. No penalty, and you own everything the whole way, so your site is never locked in.

What do you need from me to get going?

About thirty minutes and whatever you already have: a services list, a few photos, an old flyer. I write and build the rest. Most sites are live in two to three weeks.
